Careers & Volunteers
We offer meaningful, hands-on roles where you can help tackle loneliness, build real-world connection, and grow alongside a small, purpose-driven team.
Operations & Programmes Coordinator
This new Operations & Programmes Coordinator role will act as the central operational lead for day-to-day delivery.
You’ll take ownership of systems, operations, volunteer coordination, and delivery logistics, while working closely with the Founder across areas such as community activity, growth planning, partnerships, and fundraising.
As a growing organisation, this is a broad, hands-on role with scope to help shape systems, processes, and ways of working as we grow.
Senior Marketing Volunteer Lead
We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Volunteer Lead to help guide how our work shows up in the world.
This is a strategic, hands-on role for someone who wants to use marketing as a force for social impact. You’ll help shape our digital presence, sharpen our messaging, and ensure our growing work reaches the young people who need it most.
You’ll sit close to the heart of the organisation, influencing direction as well as delivery. Your contribution will directly support our mission to reduce loneliness and build stronger, more connected communities for young adults.
Social Media Marketing Intern
We’re recruiting a Social Media & Digital Marketing Intern to support how The Great Friendship Project communicates its work and impact.
This role is designed for someone who wants to learn by doing. You’ll be involved in planning, creating, and sharing content across our digital channels, working alongside the marketing lead on real campaigns that reach thousands of people.
The internship offers exposure to the day-to-day reality of running a growing non-profit, while giving you space to build confidence, develop practical marketing skills, and contribute to work that helps reduce loneliness among young people.
