The Itinerary
Your week at a glance.
Civitavecchia (for Rome)
We meet after landing in Rome and travel together to the port. The first afternoon and evening is all about exploring the ship, grabbing food, settling into the cabin and enjoying sail-away drinks on deck as the coastline fades into the distance
Salerno, Italy
Pompeii is a place that doesn’t feel real until you’re standing in it. This half-day experience includes transfers, entry and a local expert guide who brings the city back to life — from ancient bakeries with preserved ovens to the forum, villas with frescoes, temples, bathhouses and the wide stone streets where Roman carts left grooves in the ground.
Your guide explains what daily life looked like in 79 AD and how the eruption preserved the town exactly as it was. It’s immersive, moving, surprisingly easy to follow and unforgettable whether or not you’re a history lover.
After returning to Salerno early afternoon, you’ll have time for gelato on the lungomare, a walk through Old Town or a visit to the cathedral.

Activities On Board
Your questions, answered
-
Do I have to join the group activities?
-
Not at all. Each day has one organised main activity which we coordinate fully. If you join it, we handle timings, transport and structure. You can mix group and independent days freely.
-
What happens on sea days?
-
Sea days are relaxed. Each morning we’ll share optional plans such as onboard events or pool time – you can also do your own thing entirely.
We’ll use walkie-talkies, agreed meeting points and the WhatsApp group to keep everyone informed.
-
What happens if I miss the ship?
-
Group activities are planned with buffer time and stay close to port. If you explore independently, you’re responsible for returning before “all aboard” and we recommend arriving at least an hour early.
-
Most activities are manageable for all fitness levels.
Santorini has some slopes and steps, and Pompeii has uneven cobblestones, but both are fine with comfortable shoes.
